Tasting notes
To develop this XO Exception many long years of aging were (are) indispensable. This Exception XO is robed in amber colours. A Complex nose reveals notes of dried fruit, candied fruit and aged wood. The taste is intense and reveals finely melted wood tannins, with notes of cinnamon and tobacco.
Why call it XO Exception?

It remains in the XO world, but pushes aromatic depth further: dried fruit, candied fruit, old wood and an amber robe.

What does melted oak bring?

Melted oak does not dominate: it rounds the palate and carries cinnamon, tobacco and candied fruit. The whole feels intense yet integrated.

How should it be tasted?

Open it slowly in a tulip glass, without warming it too much. It stands alone, or can answer a very pure dark chocolate.
